Bands like Undercover, The Choir, Altar Boys, LSU, Daniel Amos, The Prayer Chain, The 77s, Mortal, The Violet Burning, SFC, Crumbacher, Mad at the World and many, many others will be part of a new documentary directed by John Smeby and his team of filmmakers.
The documentary "Us Kids: An Alternative Music Revolution" will tell the story of 15 years of Alternative Christian music between 1980 and 1995 developed in California, and how it impacted a generation.
John Smeby says:
"This documentary will reflect back to remember, and to create a story that brings to life a rich history of amazing songs, impactful concerts and changed lives. I invite you to join us as we move forward on this journey."
To make this documentary, John has opened a campaign on GoFundme to raise $50,000, this is an "all or nothing" campaign, the campaign ends on May 31st, if the goal is not reached, all donations will be returned.
