Switchfoot, has released this week a special version of their hit 'Dare you to move' first released as a single in February 2000 for the album Learning to Breathe.

Since then, the song has become one of the band's most iconic and well-received songs, receiving two Dove Awards and 1 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Gospel Album in 2001.

More than 20 years after its original release, Switchfoot featuring Ukrainian singer Oleh Sobchuk of the band Skai, have made a special version along and video dedicated to the people of Ukraine, in solidarity with the current situation in the war with Russia.

However, it is not only a message of hope and solidarity through the song, a donation campaign has also been created through Food for the Hungry to support people affected by the war in Ukraine.

The band Skai, posted on their social networks about their participation with Switchfoot:
'In this new version, the Ukrainian singer Oleh Sobchuk, from the rock band SKAI, participates, so the song is sung in both English and Ukrainian.
A charity duo with the world famous (my favorite) American band "Switchfoot"! Together we performed a super hit "Dare you to move" in English and Ukrainian. All funds raised will be donated to the people affected by the war. Listen, watch and join in! We will win ! The whole world is with us! Glory to Ukraine!'
