All Petra fans know that John DeGroff is one of the founding members in the early 1970s.  In 1978 John left the band, which years later would become the biggest Christian band in the world.

John's work did not end after his departure from Petra, John has continued to make music, and in recent years, has released new music, just a couple of years ago John released the album Salt, where John Schlitt participated as a singer, something quite curious since the two of them have never been together as members of Petra, In addition to having Petra's original Greg Hough guitar.

Recently, John Degroff released a D45 that includes the songs "Three Nails" where you can hear John Schlitt's voice, as well as the song "Bassic Blue", this will be part of his next album "SALT 2: Trophy Hunting For Unicorns", the release date has not been announced yet.

If you are a fan of classic rock from the 60s and 70s, this is definitely for you. Make sure you also listen to the album "Salt" released in 2018.
